Mentoring officials meet with state lawmakers

Three Mentoring Coordinators from Helping Services for Northeast Iowa, Kathy Schwartzhoff, Rosa Grant, and Jill Hollowell, have met with Senator Mary Jo Wilhelm and Representative John Beard to discuss the importance of mentoring.

The coordinators stressed that the mentoring program at Helping Services had a record year of mentor applications (over double the number we from last year) during National Mentoring Month.
