RAGBRAI XXXVII to take a northern route--but not through Decorah

RAGBRAI officials on Saturday night announced the 2010 version of the bike ride will take a route through the northern part of Iowa--but will NOT visit Decorah. RAGBRAI will run from July 25th through July 31st this year--which meant the event would not have conflicted with Nordic Fest if RAGBRAI had wanted to make Decorah one of the overnight stops. Decorah officials had submitted an application to host RAGBRAI, but the route announced Saturday night instead will go through Clear Lake, Charles City, Waterloo, Manchester and Dubuque.
