Decorah Public Library gets a state grant

State Representative John Beard of Decorah has announced the award of a $3,500 state grant to the Decorah Public Library to help purchase new technology for the library.

The funds were available through the Enrich Iowa program, which helps Iowa libraries through the statewide library card program called Open Access, the Interlibrary Loan Reimbursement, and Direct State Aid for public libraries.

"Improving our libraries is an important step toward making Decorah a better place to live through lifelong learning," said Beard.
