ELCA church officials are working to get Ben Larson's body returned to America

The Duluth News Tribune is reporting that the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America is working with Haitian officials to get the body of Luther College graduate Ben Larson returned from Haiti.

The newspaper on Monday quoted an ELCA official:

"We're working through the embassy to see if the U.S. Southern Command may be able to go over there and retrieve the body so we can bring him home," John Brooks, spokesman for the ELCA, told the News Tribune Sunday. "If that isn't possible, we also have asked if possibly a private entity can be used to go in there and find Ben. But we have no information on how this might proceed or when."
