Three awards--one recipient--at Monday's Decorah Chamber awards banquet

The Decorah Area Chamber of Commerce each January hands out three awards--Outstanding Volunteer, Outstanding Community Service and Outstanding Decorah Area Chamber of Commerce Volunteer.

At this year's banquet on Monday, a single individual was recognized for her work in all three categories. Bev Christen was honored for her work as a volunteer with countless organizations, her work within the community and her work with the DACC.

The Chamber also honored two past members of its board of directors on Monday for their service--Joanie Rollins for her term on the Chamber board and Jayme Folkedahl for his term as the board's president.
