Little Viking Sleepover postponed--but NOT canceled

The Decorah High School girls basketball team was scheduled to host a group of young girls on Saturday night following the Decorah/South Winneshiek basketball game.

Due to the severe weather, not being in school on Thursday and Friday, which meant the team was unable to spread the word, the event was postponed. But organizers say they WILL reschedule the "Little Viking Sleepover" if they can find an open date.

At the event Viking girls basketball players will spend time with younger girls, playing games and spending the night at the high school as a fund raiser for the team.
