Decorah woman to receive athletic training award

A Decorah woman, Kelly Bloom, will be receiving the Iowa High School Athletic Association's Sports Medicine Award at the boys state basketball tournament this March. Bloom is being recognized for her work as an athletic trainer for the Decorah School District. Bloom was nominated by the Decorah School District for the award. IHSAA officials confirm that Bloom has been selected to receive the award and say an official announcement will be made later this winter.
