Decorah City Council recognizes Jerry Aulwes

Decorah Mayor Don Arendt and the Decorah City Council have recognized Jerry Aulwes for his 18 years of service on the city council.

Arendt signed a proclamation Monday night honoring Aulwes for his "integrity and commitment to fairness."

Aulwes told the city council "I feel fortunate to have been able to do this." He joked "I will miss this some--but I'll get over it."
